48–72 hrs

Before You File

A valid DMCA notice must include

Missing any of these six items delays or invalidates the takedown. Please review carefully.

01

The copyrighted work

A clear description of the work you claim has been infringed — title, registration number if any, or a link to the original.

02

The infringing material

The exact URL(s) on our website where the infringing material appears — enough detail for us to locate and remove it.

03

Your contact details

Full legal name, postal address, phone number and email address — so we can reach you and the affected party can respond.

04

Good-faith statement

A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.

05

Accuracy declaration

A statement — under penalty of perjury — that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

06

Your signature

A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf.

Submitting a false DMCA notice is a serious matter.

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f) and equivalent laws in India, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be held liable for damages. File responsibly.

Counter-Notice

Content removed by mistake?

If your content was taken down and you believe it was done in error or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice. The original complainant will be notified and must file a court action within 10–14 business days; otherwise, the content may be restored.

Counter-notices must include:

  • Your full name, address, phone and email
  • Identification of the removed material and its original location
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that removal was due to mistake or misidentification
  • Consent to the jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra
  • Your physical or electronic signature
